a massive downtime woke up the pRO community today as early as 5am… gamers who are online suddenly get disconnected, and those who are trying to get into the game suddenly sees “no load” notices in the game client… according to a Y!M with Carlo Ople, pRO Brand Manager, the problem was with their billing server which was being provided by a 3rd party…

apparently, the 3rd part provider went on an update mode on the pRO servers without notifying LU! people, that was why they were literally caught with their ‘pants down’ when this happened… they immediately talked to the provider, and by 4pm, about 11 hours after, all servers are now back up, and players, both real and AI-driven, are all now inside the game… for the complete story, go to Waukeen’s post…

anyway, server mergers will push through tonight at exactly 12:01am, the 17th… expect that it will take from 18 to 24 hours before the mergers are finished… be back in game by Friday, then… also, expect a 3X EXP on all commercial servers once pRO is back…
