yes, it is the hot season all over again… and all of us need something to quench that thirst and possibly, even for a little while, take the heat off our bodies…

and what better way to do that than with a tall glass of halo-halo topped with either ice cream, ube, or leche flan, and with all the usual trimmings that comes with it??

well, in pRO, we can now do that… though this is the same halo-halo being sold in your local carinderia and that halo-halo stand down the street, but this time, you are the one to get all the ingredients and then bring this to Aling Razon… yes, people, this is a quest, one that is kinda hard to do if you want to stack up on halo halo which gives a +3 to all stats… hear that?? a +3 to all stats!!

how do you go about doing this quest?? here’s the lowdown:

1. you’d have to go to Jawaii and talk to Aling Razon [Jawaii 182, 169]… contrary to popular belief, everyone can go there, not only married couples… you’d just have to talk to Han Solo in Prontera Pub and after talking to him [and gulping down a few mugs of ale], he will bring you there…

2. when you come to Jawaii, find that NPC who will push you into the waters which will eventually bring you to Jawaii proper, and then find ALing Razon… talk to her and she will tell you the ingredients she will need for this quest…

and that’s it!! all you have to do now is to get all the materials!! so, what monster do you have to kill to get them?? unfortunately for all of us, they are MVPs… no really, seriously, you’d have to kill at least 5 each of 9 kinds of MVP monsters before you can get the ingredients…

KIDDING!!

the monsters are easy enough, but the ingredients are harder to come by… they are:

• Kaong — Muka
• Gulaman — Poison Spore
• Leche Flan — Magnolia
• Ube Jam - Marin
• Sago — Plankton
• Langka — Mandragora
• Sweet Beans — Coco
• Sweet Bananas — Yoyo
• Macapuno — Martin

that list above was given to me a very reliable source from within LU!… i said harder to come by because i spent about an hour in pay_fild005 [poison spores] and i never got one Gulaman… the same with Magnolias and Marins for Leche Flan and Ube Jam… though it was easy enough to get Kaong from Mukas as i now have 10…

haaayyy… looks like those 4 hours i spent hunting for the ingredients will simply go to waste…

anyway, if you are one of those who want to be stronger [goodness, all stats +3!!], then get the ingredients and bring them to Aling Razon… oh, and only 1 of each is needed and she will, in turn, give you 5 halo-halos for your efforts…
