in retrospect…

now that you’ve had your vacations [5 days, eh??], it is now back to the grind, back to work, and back to dealing with all your problems in life… me? i stayed home and blog hopped all that 5 days, played RO, the wife and I were invited for a tasting, and we played a few rounds of badminton with Baddicts! last Saturday… suffice it to say that we took advantage of a traffic-free Manila…

anyway, speaking of problems, some bloggers and i put up a new blog meant to address men’s women-related, love- and sex-related, relationship-related, and basically, all problems that a man suffers everyday… we do not suppose that we have all the answers to daily life, but at least, men will now have a shoulder to lean on, so to speak…

the blog is called AllTooRealMen, and this came about during the conversations made during the post-event party of the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards… conversations really were varied, from women fashion from the point of view of a man, sex, politics, Shari’s sex life, to just about anything that we can think of… and ATRM was just one of the by-products of that…

anyway, if you are male and have a problem you are not inclined to tell your best bud, go to the site and tell us… we just might be able to help you out… of course, women are not banned from viewing the site, so all you women out there, take a look at the site and you just might learn a thing or two…

many of you don’t know that i have been a long time player of one of the largest MMORPG particularly here in the Philippines… i have had several posts regarding that here in this blog already, but not so much as to totally make this a game blogger’s blog…

what am i talking about? well, i am talking about LevelUp Game’s first ever MMORPG Ragnarok Online… anyway, i have long wanted to create a blog particularly for this, my characters, my sieges with my guildmates, and everything that is happening [or at least, those i notice] around me and my online friends…

i never really thought to do that until now, when i read Waukeen’s post calling for players to create a gaming blog, particularly an RO blog…

so, to answer Waukeen’s post, find my new blog over at http://www.haravata.com/ragnarok which i call Ragnarok Days… of course, i don’t play it now as much as before [everyday for about 8 to 10 hours a day], but i still create memories… of course, since i am coming up with Days [shortform of my new blog], i may still play it again… and with Episode XIV or Hugel coming up, i may create either a Gunslinger or a Ninja… or both!!

remember my last post regarding my character in Philippine Ragnarok Online (pRO)

well, i have since created a new character, this time a Crusader… currently master_gohan is level 94, and when he gets to level 99, the following will be his final stats:
# STR 83
# VIT 92
# AGI 9
# INT 50
# DEX 25
# LUK 1

all of these without the plusses yet… ehehehe…

i hope i can get him to 99 soon… and i’ll be telling you more of the 3rd characater i am currently creating: a MONK!!! nyahahaha… soon because he is still in his acolyte stage… abangan!!!

/omg yes!!! finally!!!

my knight, -=Prince Arthas=-, is now a level 99 knight, complete with aura and all!!!

after all the blood and sweat (and not to mention the time and money) i spent oing this, i have finally achieved what all players of Ragnarok Online are hoping to achieve: that very elusive AURA! galing!!!

but along with the accolades from guildmates who were very supportive, there are still some people who wanted to ruin everything i worked so hard for. some were following me around Prontera (a town in Ragnarok) saying i was mayabang and pasikat… what the….???

anyway, you can see my final stats from the image i took… yes!!!!

i am currently at level 98 of my quest to go on to level 99 for my knight, -=Prince Arthas=-, playing Ragnarok Online… wakekekeke… so very near… yet so far… still about a week to go to get to level 99… a week!!!

anyway, i currently have 78% of the required 100%, and i get about 1% more every 2 hours of playing… damn! but don’t worry, fans! i’ll be getting there soon enough! hehehehe…

i am an addict!!! and i am not ashamed to say it… ehehehehe…

but, nope, not that kind of an addict… i am an addict of the current craze here in the Philippines, Ragnarok Online from Level-Up Games. Ragnarok Online is a MMORPG (massively multiplayer role-playing game) made by Korean company Gravity based on the Ragnarok Manga by Lee-Myon Jin.

so, anyway, I am currently a level 95 knight (and hoping to be level 96 by this afternoon, needing just 6% to be able to do that). my current stats are (with 5 stat points left)

STRENGTH 64 +8
AGILITY 90 +5
VITALITY 50 +10
INTELLIGENCE 1 +0
DEXTERITY 44 +6
LUCK 3 +4

after i get to level 96, i’ll have about 29 stat points to spread around, but i think i’ll get my STR up to 72, so i’ll be doing that until about level 98. and i am hoping that i have the sensibility, money, time, and effort to get this to level 99. after that, it is aura galore!!!

for this term, i have four (yes, 4!!!) classes, namely: NETADDR (net addressing using IPv6), LUIPROG (Linux UI programming using QT/TclTk), SOFTDEV (software development), and QUALITY (software quality assurance). don’t how i was able to get these classes, but i am glad…

i am teaching two of the best batches of CNEs, one a senior and the other a junior. you know who you are, guys…

oh, and btw… I am now lvl91 Knight in Philippine Ragnarok Online (pRO), an MMORPG from Korea. ehehehe…
