Globelines Broadband is losing it…

this post outlined the problems we were having with our connection with Globelines Broadband, and i have called maybe 3 or 4 times since then: we are working hard on it, sir… we will inform you once we stabilize it, sir… don’t worry, sir, your next Internet bill will reflect the rebate you are entiled to, sir… blah, blah, blah…
but today, the connection got really worst that it became practically unusable, to the point that my wife is getting frustrated with it she told me to move over and used my computer to surf… sheessshhh… [luv 'ya, sweetie...]
anyway, just so to confirm it, i, again, went to Speakeasy.net to test the bandwidth i am getting from this connection, and the following was the result:
a little faster than a 9.2 modem [remember using those??] and hair slower that a 14.4… goodness!!
i even tried going to Speedtest.net but the slowness of the connection prevented even that to load… it would have been better if we jsut connected the phone line to the modem and dialled-up… it will be infinitely better…
i believe Globelines is really losing it this time… i’ve read a post by Carlo and jrocas detailing how Globelines just deacticated his connection without any notice… probably, they are now getting frustrated with all the technical support calls they are getting but cannot resolve, that’s why they resorted to this… i feel for them, but i feel more for the thousands of subscribers who switched to Globelines after being equally frustrated with other DSL and/or broadband Internet providers, like us…
i hope they get to fix this the soonest before ALL of their subscribers finally deactivate them…

Globelines service really sucks. Hopeless is probably the word. When are they ever going to get their act together!
Someone should complain to the National Telecommuncations Commission about this Globelines broadband mockery service.

Always problems with the Shitlines and they dare to call their service “broadband” as if they know what that is at all. Their servers and other stuff must be from the stoneage or the people using them don’t know nothing about how internet should work.
But when they are sending out bills, then they know and money they like for their shit-service and slow speed. Companies like Globelines should be banned from doing business at all.
Globelines Broadband is a scam!!! Letting us customers experience their 7-day trial period of real broadband speed then they will tie us in their 1yr bond then after that the HELL ON EARTH of internet begins.
I am experiencing problems with globelines broadband… I subscribed to their 512kbps wireless broadband package with wireless phone (PHP1295/mo.)… they gave me 7 days trial period and within that trial period I was amazed with the speed… pumapalo from 700+ kbps to 1+ mb… kaya pina-activate ko kaagad. Pero eto na ang kalbaryo… right after the 7-day trial period nagsimula nang maging intermitent ang connection speed nila either super bagal (I even got 5bps or lower!!!) o totally walang connection. Lagi ako nagrereklamo sa CS nila pero wala naman sila ginawa kundi palitan yung modem na wala naman nagbago ganon pa din naman problema. My work is related to IT and I know that there is no problem at my side (hardware, softwares, cabling, etc…). Kakainis na talaga ang service ng globelines… feeling ko naloko lang ako kase nakatali ako ngayon sa kanila for 1yr dahil sa 1yr bond na kasama sa package.
I am experiencing the same problem you people are all facing. My biggest problem is that I cannot change provider here in Dasmarinas, Cavite because the only available service is from Globe.

I’m not experiencing any problems with globelines it is actually pretty great and when i tested its speed at speedtest.net it turned out that it reached 1007kbps and i’ve been using it for about a year or so. actually its the best ispi’ve ever gotten.
Tangina naman, pagnagdodownload aq laging nadidisconect, minsan nga 99% na ung download q tapos biglang madidisconect, 1 1/2 hour qng hinintay tapos disconect, PUTANG INA cno ba naman ang di magagalit nun, pati streaming videos di q na ginagawa, nayayamot lng aq, lalo n pag online gaming, nung 2006 p daw 2ng gani2 eh, ang hirap p n2 may bago clang commericial, ung plan 595 b un, putang ina ang kakapal ng mukha, mabankrupt sna ang globe
hey Gallbladder i think ur an agent of Globe, because all globe subscribers are experiencing d same prob. and that is disconection and very slow connection, mga putangina ninyong lahat mamatay na kau kasama kna Gallbladder
Just got globelines 3mb internet only line installed here in bacolod a couple of days ago. Speedtested 300kb down and 110 kb upload so not anywhere near what i am paying them for. According to customer service this problem should be fixed in a week or 2.
PUTANGINA NYO GLOBELINES WALANG KWENTA SERVICE NYO! 2 WEEKS NA AKONG WALANG INTERNET AT DIAL TONE. PURO KYO KALOKOHAN. MAKARMA SANA ANG OPERATIONS NG GLOBE MGA SUPERVISOR NG CALL CENTER NYO BULOK!
even though globelines suck at all times theres nothing more i can do..because the only internet provider here on leyte is globe..T_T
one year and six months na akong subscriber ng globe broadband parati na lang sinsabi na hintay lang at upgrading daw ng system… sawang sawa na ko sa palpak na serbisyo nyo kahit minsan hindi bumilis connection ko parati pa disconnect mas mabilis pa yung dial-up ko dati.. dapat di ko na pinadisconnect pldt line ko ngayon wala na available line d2 .. simula ngayon hindi ko na babayaran bill ko buset kayo wala ako pakiaalam kung putulin nyo na service dami na sakit ulo binigay nyo sakin.
Thanks Globe for making my job easier. You have made the lives of a lot of people miserable. Thanks for bringing HELL on EARTH.

After not having a phone and internet for almost a month, I honestly believe that Globe is run by a bunch of incompetent morons. Before the last major downtime, I was plagued with snailspeed internet, friends and family telling me that they cannot contact me on my fu**ing “Globebroadband phone”, and constant offline.
To Globe, If you cannot deliver then leave the other internet company alone you motha**ckers!!! Salimpusa ka lang….tangnamo!!!
im from cebu talisay. globelines is a very big mistake.
hindi pwede walang problem sa connection nila in a month.
ang masakit pa nito, todo cover up yung tech support nila.
ung term nila sa downtime is “system enhancement” phew!
ganu ba katagal yang enhancement nila?
and fyi kahit na 1% lang na speed nakukuha niyo basta connected daw ay 100% yung babayaran natin. SUS! what a ripped off. so what i did was i called tech support for them to send in “engineers” pero anu ginawa? chineck lang nila kung naka connect ako tapos sabi saken, “Sir naka connect naman kayo ah. yang lang po ung concern namin, about sa speed sa wala kaming alam dyan.” toink!

thats it! im happy na! because today im terminating my globelines account and changing my isp.
dont make the same mistake i did. or else minimum one year kayo mag susuffer sa lock-in period nila.

Hello! its me again….and guess what?!! ….wala na naman akong internet at phone. Tangnang Globe yan! hindi na ba kayo nagsasawa sa kaka mura ko?
I hope globe broadband would all hear our sentiments, ’cause I myself is totally pissed to this phony internet provider, these past few weeks im getting 35kbps and sometimes lower than that, imagine!!
