finally, haravata.com and apples-pie.com now has a new home!! and with their new kid, kubiertos.com, it is now one big happy family!!
in this post, i listed all that i need for the new webhost… and what i found does all of it, and more!!
| Disk Storage | 200 GB |
| Host 6 Domains On 1 Account | |
| Free Domain Name | |
| POP3/POP3 Secure Email Support | 2,500 |
| IMAP/Secure IMAP Email Support | 2,500 |
| Site Transfer Bandwidth | 2,000 GB/mo |
and there’s more yet!!
but don’t take my word for it… go to BlueHost.com and read more about it…
and best of all?? it is just $6.95 a month [or a measly Php340.55 a month] with dedicated 24×7 technical online support!! neat, no??
[and, no... i am not being paid... i wish i was, though... hehehe...]
though readers can still use the old URLs, like http://blog.haravata.com or http://pictures.haravata.com, the new URLs [as you see them in your browser's address bar] are better… right??
Ciao, sweetie…

Now I know why my RSS is not getting anything out of your blog and kubiertos, because there is none on the new sites.
340 pesos per month is not dirt cheap since that sums to Php 4000+ per year. I dont have ssh access to my webhost but I only pay about Php1,000 per year (domain registration included).Ok lang, the service I got is enough for my decent needs.
ciao!
hahaha!!
ok lang… at least it gives me what i want and more… cheap enough…
Ciao…
any plans on bringing back the RSS feeds on this and the kubiertos blogs?
ciao!
but THERE are RSS feeds for both of ‘em?? can’t get ‘em??
Ciao…
my sage firefox plugin cant see any…
ciao!
yes, i’ve tried it, too, with Firefox installed… hmmm… bakit kaya??
anyway, the RSS feed for in retrospect is “http://www.haravata.com/blog/?feed=rss2″ while for kubiertos, it is “”http://www.kubiertos.com/blog/?feed=rss2″…
have a lot of fun!!
Ciao…
i have already updated my rss feeds but refreshing them results to a parse XML error in the sage plugin. accessing the rss feeds manually returns back a page. i dont know if it is a valid xml though…
ciao!
must be the sage plugin… or maybe, it is the upgrade i did to Wordpress 2.1…
Ciao…
i also tried installing sage plugin in my firefox, entered the RSS address, and got “Error: XML Parse Error”… are you getting the same thing??
yup. i only get that error when the site is returning a standard HTML response (e.g. when the office proxy blocks a siteand return a notice page) or it cannot parse the feed xml being returned. i guess it is the latter.
ill try another rss aggregator for firefox even though i like sage…
ciao!
ok, i tried another firefox rss aggregator (Wizz) and while it can find the RSS and Atom feeds i cant add it since the feeds are reported to be invalid.
do you know anybody who has successfully added the feeds for this blog and kubiertos’?
ciao!
installed the Wizz firefox plugin and while it can discover the RSS and Atom feeds it cannot add them. the error i am getting is that the feeds themselves are invalid. these are two different aggregator projects so i am betting the blog feeds are at fault.
ciao!
Erin, so sorry po… does this mean i lose my one and only reader??
Ciao…
i must’ve really bungled the installation of WP 2.1… i re-installed it again [with you in mind... teehee...], tried out Sage again, and it finally worked!!
here’s a screen capture:
